Workshop on Advanced Legal Terminology and Procedures

DESCRIPTION:

This workshop will help the interpreter be more effective and efficient in the fields of Criminal Law, Family Law, and Immigration Law.

We all know that in order to interpret something correctly, it is important to understand the meaning of the whole phrase, and not just individual words.

In court we often hear strange sounding phrases, that are composed from familiar words. Very often the meaning of those phrases is different than what we would expect.

PRESENTER: GENNADY BRONSHTEYN, JD

Gennady Bronshteyn is a Certified Russian Court Interpreter with over 20 years of experience. Founder and owner of GBR Interpreting & Translation Services. Since 2012 a practicing attorney in the areas of criminal, family, immigration, and civil law.
