Full-Time Subtitle and Captioning Editor – Minneapolis, MN

CaptionMax is located in MN and actively looking for skilled Spanish subtitlers. The work is with video media for subtitles delivered to streaming and broadcast clients. Other roles in this department are also available.

  • Responsibilities include translation, proofing, editing and timing, of subtitles and captions for broadcast TV, films, and other video.
  • Previous experience in the translation, subtitling / closed captioning preferred. Fluency in English and Spanish required—additional languages a plus. Ability to handle multiple tasks, communicate with contractors and vendors, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel. Must be detail oriented.

Regions On-Call Hmong Interpreter – St. Paul, MN

Regions Hospital has an opening for an on-call Hmong interpreter.  The interpreter will be responsible for facilitating daily cross-cultural communication between patients, family members and others, along with medical providers and staff.  The interpreter will serve as a cultural and language resource person. 40 hours of interpreter training required and active Status on the Minnesota Spoken Language Health Care Interpreter Roster.
