NAJIT Blog: “The Couch”

Did you know that the National Association of Judiciary Interpreters & Translators (NAJIT) has an excellent blog called the NAJIT Observer? They post weekly on very relevant topics written by some of the biggest names in the translation and interpretation fields. Not only that, but every now and then, they do a feature titled “The Couch.” Formerly known as What Would You Have Done?, it arose from a desire to give readers a larger platform and an opportunity to share their wisdom.

Below is a collection of stories posted on April 20th, 2018, that received a large number of responses from the NAJIT Observer readers. Please enjoy revisiting them, and should you feel inspired to write in, you can contact the NAJIT Observer Editor at [email protected]

1- To Speak Out or Not to Speak Out?

2- Cornered by the Attorney

3-  When clients really want to thank you. How do you handle it?

4- Is there a double standard here???
