Awards

Part of our role as a professional association is to recognize those individuals and organizations that have made exceptional contributions and improvements to the fields of interpreting and translation.

Awards are presented yearly at an UMTIA membership gathering.

We are always on the lookout for new candidates. Do you know someone who has done something outstanding in either the field of interpreting or translating? Nominate them right now for an UMTIA Service to the Field Award!

How to Nominate

Send an email with your contact info, the name of your nominee, and why you think they should be recognized, to info@umtia.org. We’ll get back to you to find out all the details.
