The Executive Board is a group of dedicated, passionate volunteers who are elected by the membership to oversee the business of the entire organization.
If you’re interested in helping to shape the field, and creating new opportunities for both yourself and your fellow colleagues to learn and connect, consider getting involved with the Executive Board.
You’re Welcome to Attend a Board Meeting
Members are encouraged to join the Executive Board for a meeting. It’s a great way to get a sense of how the board works. UMTIA is your association and we need to hear from you to know what direction to take.
The Executive Board generally meets the second Thursday of each month from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in Minneapolis. Send us an email at [email protected] to let us know you’re coming, and we’ll make sure you know where we plan to meet. Additionally, we occasionally forgo the Thursday meetings in lieu of a longer weekend meeting. We look forward to seeing you!

To be included in the next board meeting, messages must be submitted to us by noon on Tuesday prior to the meeting. Anything not sent in by this deadline will be addressed at the next meeting.
